Study on Low Cycle Fatigue Properties of 30Cr2Ni4MoV Steel for LP Rotor of Nuclear Steam Turbine

Tensile tests and low cycle fatigue tests of 30Cr2Ni4MoV are conducted in this paper. We got tensile distributive characteristics of lager diameter rotor and plastic modulus from tensile properties data. The low cycle fatigue tests of 30Cr2Ni4MoV different strain amplitude was carried out by using the Strain-controlled. The results show that 30Cr2Ni4MoV have significant cyclic softening characteristics and little difference between surface and core of rotor. We got Manson-Coffin and stain-cycle formula parameters by fitting method. Both fitting method can match original data. Stain-cycle formula can reflect high cycle fatigue properties.
