Preparation and performance of microencapsulated phase change material of palmitic/myristic acid

The microencapsulated phase change material of palmitic/myristic acid was prepared by the reaction of urea and formaldehyde which produced polymer to coat palmitic acid/myristic acid eutectic.The phase transition temperature of the microencapsulated palmitic/myristic acid was 53.6℃,and the latent heats were 136.3 J/g,and the average grain diameter was16.77μm.The heat stability test proved that microencapsulated palmitic/myristic acid had a good thermal stability.
