Due to their biocompatibility and low cost. Starch-based hemostatic materials have attracted the attention of scientists. This review briefly summarizes the research progress of starch-based hemostatic biomaterials. The current main research results are reviewed respectively from three aspects: modification of morphology of microspheres,chemical modification of microsphere surface and composite materials. The article concludes the application prospects and the main problems now,which is to provide a theoretical basis for the research and development and application of starch-based hemostatic materials in the fields of biology and medicine.
