Clinical Study of Glipizide Combined with Acarbose in the Treatment of Type 2 Diabetes

Objective:To analyze the clinical efficacy of glipizide combined with acarbose in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus.Methods:70 patients with type 2 diabetes who were admitted to our hospital from March 2017 to August 2018 were randomly divided into control group and treatment group. The former was treated with glipizide combined with acarbose. The latter was treated with metformin. The efficacy and FBG of the two groups were analyzed, and the changes in HOMA-βand BMI were compared. Results:The total effective rate was 94.29%,the FPG level was(5.46±0.93)mmol/L,the 2hPG level was(7.06±1.18)mmol/L,HbAlc was(6.15±0.47)%,and the fasting C-peptide level was(2.23±0.87)ng/ml,HOMA-βwas(57.39±13.28)%,and BMI was(23.06±1.74)kg/m 2.Compared with the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The effect of Glipizide combined with acarbose in the treatment of type 2 diabetes has a significant clinical effect, which can effectively control blood glucose levels, improve isletβ-cell function, and is worthy of popularization and application.
