Cause Analysis and Optimizing Control of Abnormal pH in Indirect Cooling Circulating Water for 350 MW Unit

As an important water saving design of thermal power plant, cooling tower iswidely used in North China, so pH value of the circulating cooling water in the inter-coolingtower becomes an important control indicator. The cause of excessively high pH value in thecirculating water of the inter-cooling system of the 350 MW supercritical generator units atsome power plant was mainly analyzed. By taking measures such as continuous water ex原change, small-scale experiments and system anti-corrosion, the effect of high pH on the alu原minum materials in the system was solved and the pH value was controlled within a reason原able range, which ensured long-term stable and safe operation of the power units.
