APPLICATION OF NEW ARC-ALIGNMENT TECHNOLOGY OF SLAB CCM SEGMENT

In view of the shortcomings of traditional arc-alignment method: low efficiency,poor measurement accuracy and labor waste,a newarc-alignment technique of slab CCMsegment has been developed.With the use of measuring methods of laser tracker,DINI high precision level,the newtechnique such as " 2 lines 1 spot" positioning,three-dimensional space positioning measurement and two-dimensional computing software were used in maintenance of slab CCM. It improves the accuracy of arc from ± 0. 5 mm to± 0. 2 mm,improves the billet quality,prolongs the online service life of the segment,shortens the maintenance time from 11 days to 6 days,improves the production efficiency of continuous casting machine.Remarkable economic and social benefits are achieved.
