Application for CANopen Profile in Hardware of Loop Simulation of Wind Turbine

To the problem of high cost,difficult recurrence and high contingency in the large PLC field test,a set of hardware in the loop platform in the laboratory is set up to simulate the field of wind turbine,the communication way that CANopen profile is used to accomplish the communication between the hardware in the loop platform and PLC is presented.According to the CANopen profile,detail of the network management packet object,process data object,service data object,special function object of simulation wind trubine is designed.Simulink,USB-CAN and PLC are used to build the hardware in the loop platform.The results show that using CANopen profile can meet the communication needs of the hardware in the loop platform of wind turbine.
